Israel also looking like they getting some of their own medicine.

Trump team even talking about easing sanctions on Iran to get oil flowing 😂find what a disaster. Did these fucking idiots not have any plan whatsoever?

This conflict between the United States and Iran shows a simple but important truth - winning battles, in this war's case - the air or at sea is not the same as winning a war.

In a conventional sense, the United States is far stronger. It has superior air power, advanced weapons, and the ability to strike targets quickly and accurately. This allows it to destroy Iranian military sites and weaken its forces with relative ease. By the traditional measures, the U.S. is clearly ahead.

But Iran is not trying to fight a conventional war here. Not really.

Instead, it is using asymmetric tactics cheap drones, missile attacks, and proxy groups across the region. These methods are not designed to defeat the U.S. outright, but to make the conflict longer, more expensive, and more complicated.

This creates two different kinds of success. The U.S. measures progress by how much damage it can inflict. Iran measures success by how long it can keep going and how much pressure it can create.
As a result, while the United States may be winning on the battlefield, Iran is stopping it from achieving a quick or decisive victory. That matters.

In modern conflicts like this, there are rarely clear winners. Military strength can win fights, but patience and persistence can definitely shape the outcome.

And then you have the economic pressures and realities which are a war within a war.....

Unless it's some roundbout way of trying to hurt china, I am struggling to see a clear reason for the US even being there. Besides being told to by Israel.

Trump's idiotic supporters banged on about cutting costs, not wasting money and america first...DOGE etc

They're now asking for 200 billion to fund the war. Hilariously sad

I think Israel would have been far more effective destabilising the regime in Iran through sustained military-intelligence operations (like targeted assassinations, cyberattacks, sabotage of nuclear facilities, and proxy disruptions etc) rather a full-scale confluct, especially looking at the "shadow war" pattern.

These actions imposed real costs delaying enrichment capabilities, creating paranoia within the regime, and eroding confidence in leadership while avoiding the risks of massive retaliation or regional escalation.

You're almost thinking that now Iran could forge a pathway to a kind of victory in this war....

Sure, Iran cannot match U.S. and Israeli conventional forces, so its path to success relies on endurance, asymmetric tactics, and strategic leverage.

They have thier proxy militant groups in Iraq, Lebanon, and Yemen which could tie down their adversaries, meanwhile controlling the Strait of Hormuz and disrupting energy supplies increases global pressure.

Cyber and information operations add complexity. Ultimately, “winning” may not be battlefield conquest, but surviving, maintaining regime stability, and forcing a negotiated settlement favourable to Tehran, turning this seemingly infatigable resilience into a geo-political advantage....

Of course ultimately, success would mean maintaining regime stability and forcing a negotiated settlement, turning resilience and pressure into strategic advantage.

in the end there really is no winners......

For the regime in Tehran, “success” in this war is not about defeating the U.S. or Israel militarily but about shaping the outcome in ways that preserve its power and position.....

So if this became the case then Tehran would definitely feel like they were winners....

hence why I said no winners (meaning average jo/joseph) but for the dictaters/pollies of power/position.

Whoever is in the white house making bets and investing on the inside info is also a big winner.

Insane how corrupt this administration is.
All I know is that the giant Cheezel has well and truly earned his Nobel peace prize.. Can you imagine, he is going to be the first man in history to negotiate a peace with Iran TWICE in 12 months? Remarkable.
