Nah absolute hard disagree. It’s an embarrassment that the largest stadium in the 6th or 7th biggest city in the country still has grass hills like it’s 1974.

Dozens upon dozens of local grounds in the area to watch a game and have a few beers on the hill. An international level stadium isn’t it.
 
Huge fan of both. Some of the best times have been had on the southern hill. Now have brought the kidlets to their first games on the Northern. If we get to host the World Cup in 2090 sure go nuts

100%. At some point, a major tournament in Australia is going to mean the hills will be removed, but why do it now? It is clear that it is a popular spot to sit. I have always preferred it over the rubbish plastic seats and, so far as the southern hill is concerned, it is great having the older blokes people standing up the back having drinks and the young families sitting on the grass with kids running and kicking balls around.

It clearly won’t happen until a major tournament requires it as the funding won’t be there otherwise. But I can dream.
