He's certainly coveted for his achievements and there is a wider spectrum than most. However, there was an assessment of picking and choosing what to go after based on their own biased appetite.

The Schiff case loss saw a damning assessment by the court of building baseless lies. Schiff went on to say that the media has kept this quiet to conceal the bias surrounding the case.

It's right to go against someone in breach but how could someone so successful get it so wrong here? Yet this ruling has reeled one side back in and hopefully it doesn't happen again. It's good we have such laws to test both sides.

I was aware of who he is. An assessment was made in the fallout of losing a case having made baseless claims and those targeted have stated they feel he's selective in who he goes after.

Of course they need to choose someone but the issue is investigative journalists can't claim to be clean when they go after people with baseless claims. Many use the protection of the press but thankfully courts can rule when they are out of line.

Sure yet I'm referring to the case where he got it blatantly wrong and was found to have unsubstantiated claims.

Keep doing the work but make sure you get it right.

With the UK's Labour Government planning extremely harsh new settlement laws for illegal immigrants I wonder if the bulletproof vest is to stop people from her own party from attempting to assassinate her rather than terrorists or Tories....

Hopefully they get a peace deal in Ukraine. Nobody will be happy. But at the end of it Ukraine will be the hardest done by if they have to give up any land. Not like they were the agressors, all Russia has to do is pack up their shit and go home (and enjoy all the new land they got).

It sucks, but ending the war is paramount. Let's hope they get it done.
 
Having said that, Putin will attack again most likely. Maybe teh language thing is some kind of dumb guarantee?
 

Longish but simple read on the 28 point 'peace' plan.

* Trust Putin? No fucking way, he sees this war as some sort of Russian survival trip, idiot.
* America get 'half' of all reconstruction profits, looks like it's their way of getting their "aid" back.
* No NATO membership for Ukraine, ever.
* EU membership for Ukaine, maybe, they get defacto EU trade status straight away.
* No NATO troops on the ground in Ukraine, ever.
* NATO "security gurantees", whatever that means.
* Giving up ground they've been struggling to take.
* Phased reduction of Russian sanctions dependant on peace plan compliance.

The fact is Ukraine was a country formed on genocide and ethnic cleansing so I don't get why people can support them. They are just as bad as Russia and should not be allowed into NATO or EU.
