So who's making the decisions the retracting them? It's just shit organisation with a lack of communication and common sense. Just like the Australian live sites.

Do concerts permit bottles? Might depend on the country. Water should be provided at the games for a very low price.

German concerts gouge for water and restaurants near refuse to give free tap water.

I would not be surprised if we have 3 draws in our group games.This might get us into the next round as third best team though we not have a positive goal difference.

Ideally the groups see two dominant teams and the other two draw H2H. I think we'll see some surprising results and a number of teams ending on 4 or 2 points.

Have heard it at least 15 years to be honest. not for all positions though. Usually for 1 (GK), 9 (striker), 10 (attacking midfielder), and 6 (defensive midfielder)

Yeah the first time I heard it was probably Craig Foster about 20 years ago (my idea of "modern" haha) and thought he was trying hard to stand out.

Every simulation I've done has had 3pts and -2 GD as the cut off (either the first team not progressing has more than -2 GD, or multiple teams have -2 GD and some progress, and some don't)

Alright everyone, I’ve finished my simulations of the playoffs and the following nations have qualified for my simulated run through of the World Cup



UEFA A - Italy
UEFA B - Sweden
UEFA C - Kosovo
UEFA D - Denmark
Intercontinental A - DR Congo
Intercontinental B - Bolivia

I’ll be doing a sim through of the groups using these as the extra qualifiers this week, with screen recordings of the sims for Australia’s games (and might do All Whites as well) and see how the tournament progresses.

Oz v USA - narrow win
Oz v Paraguay - draw

Put your house on it. My house is absolutely lovely with an ocean view ... I've wagered it for odds of 55 - 1 on those results.

My wife will be so pissed off if I lose, but it won't be my fault ... it will be our useless Socceroos..

Paraguay thrashed Nicaragua in their only pre-World Cup friendly though so are going to be a dangerous side and we'll be lucky to get a result against them.

I mean you may be right but Nicaragua are 131st in the world. Hardly worth writing us off based off that.

I'm not writing the Socceroos off but bear in mind that Latin American and South American opposition are dangerous sides whose style of play relies on stifling our forward line which means we'll struggle to find the back of the net.

Spain are the obvious ones, France very strong then Portugal and Argentina. Japan a real dark horse. Netherlands didn't really impress too much in qualifying, thrashed the minnows but drew home and away with Poland. Any Concacaf team unlikely to get to the quarters.

Paraguay while stingy defensively were not exactly prolific in qualifying and Julio Enciso (probably their main attacking weapon) may struggle to play in the group games after injury in the friendly.

They will still be incredibly hard to beat. The one chink they have is set pieces against extreme height 0 something that Souttar and Burgess offer.

Also bear in mind that Japan have never won a knockout game at the World Cup.

The Paraguay game weighs differently as its the third. There could be equations where a draw benefits both sides.
