That reverse angle shoed the Arnold clean up but the side angle looked like a clear dive. In saying that the Chinese player had a good little leap.

Chloe Berryhill doing punditry as usual. Not the best pundit lol, she said she was sure that Japan vs Philippines or South Korea vs Uzbekistan would go to penalties. As everyone else expected, Japan and Korea won comfortably.

Is Kennedy playing as a midfielder that drops back into a central defender?
I'd say Alanna Kennedy is being played as a defensive midfielder this match but China have been stifling the Tillies midfield and targeting the defensive line throughout the first half which means she hasn't really had as much of an impact as she did in previous matches.

That’s a dive!
Definitely from the side angle and I don't know if the head on angle really proves how cleaned up the Chinese player got. I retract my original statement as the Chinese player simple drags her right leg along Arnold while falling forward. Arnold does everything to pull back.

I have a question about that commonwealth bank ad where the little girl is giving the team a pre game prep talk - why is she not telling them to take their jewellery out or the ref won’t let them play?

This rule has actually been a problem before (not for the Tillies but still):

Basically Estelle Cascarino, a French player who signed for West Ham on loan from Juventus, was denied a chance to debut because she was wearing an earring.
