I'd say keep Caitlin Foord for the first part of the second half before bringing on Amy Sayer and giving Kyra Cooney-Cross game time in the latter stages of the match, along with subbing on another striker like Holly Mac or Remy Siemsen to at least give Sam Kerr support up front. We should put Amy Sayer on. Maybe take off Caitlin Foord?
I could never bring myself to cheer for Iran.Cheering for iran here

Mackenzie Arnold did better with saving penalties during the Women's World Cup and also in club football but sadly she seems to have regressed since then.Hate that stupid run Macca does on penalties. Gives her absolutely no chance at saving. She needs to stay up as long as possible, but that run doesn't allow that.
True wordsWhy does it feel like the hand ball rule is different in every competition and just about every game
Somewhat yet she always moved before the penalty was taken and was too inpatient in her anticipation. I'd have to check but the shots were either at her or she had terrible pre shot movement and balance that gave herself no chance.Mackenzie Arnold did better with saving penalties during the Women's World Cup and also in club football but sadly she seems to have regressed since then.
Matildas can still qualify for the Women's World Cup by making the eight but our path to Brazil becomes more complicated should we lose our quarterfinal because we'll have to go through the play-in matches and possibly also the interconfederation playoffs.Real danger of missing the world cup....
People will say lighten up it's just football but whenever I hear Iran or have a student in my class from Iran I see a staggered defensive line, a torn down net and a late header on goal and a torn 9 year old heart.I could never bring myself to cheer for Iran.
29 years on from the Socceroos loss to them at the MCG, the pain has never gone away.
