Fun fact about the Philippines is the majority of their players are American. Places like California have big Filipino communities. Angie Beard is the only Aussie, born in Brisbane.

Who decided to build a stadium running east west? Does the AFL play in that direction too?

AFL also plays in that direction but they have the full oval whereas the Tillies and any other round ball matches only have the rectangle bit in the middle.

Yes I'm aware of how AFL is played. I thought perhaps they may play in the perpendicular direction. If they don't then again, who decided on building a stadium where you look into the sun.
