Thinking Circati will go up a level to a europa league lv club in the other big 4 leagues like a Betis/Sociedad/Atalanta/Monaco etc.

Toure maybe to one of the larger champ teams like a boro/West Ham/ Southampton.

Herrington also will get a move but i hope not barca as he wont get gametime.

Think Metcalfe may have played himself into a bundi contract after St paulis relegation.

Souttar def will not be playing league 1 with leicester next season.

No way beach stays in the A league. Think where he ends up depends on next few games.

Irankunda at the very least will surely start matches for Watford now after these last couple of games. Bayern have a buyback clause so youd think they might activate it with demand high for him, and then sell on. Can see him playing in mid table bundi team that plays on counter

Lucas Herrington will likely be headed to an EFL Championship side that's contending for promotion or even a bottom half Premier League club but not until the conclusion of the MLS season at least given that he already has experience defending against players like Lionel Messi and will hardly get any game time at Barcelona or other powerhouse clubs in the Big Five European leagues.

Connor Metcalfe might want to stay at St. Pauli with Jackson Irvine and help them secure promotion back to the Bundesliga next season though.

Leicester City can't afford to keep Harry Souttar given their payroll anyway.

Patrick Beach will inevitably be headed overseas either at the conclusion of the World Cup or during the January transfer window following his remarkable performance on tournament debut along with the fact that he already has experience at continental level from playing in AFC Champions League Elite with Melbourne City this past season.

Based off yesterday, I think:
  • Souttar (either into the Championship, EPL - I wonder if he'd ever go to Celtic, Rangers or Hearts though....)
  • Beach - like mentioned above, either straight away or in January
  • Okon-Engstler - I think he might get a lower end European club - possibly Belgian, given his father and birthplace?
  • Irankunda is going to a top-flight team for sure

no diff to Olympics or any other major tournament - the world is watching and its any oyster.
Destiny is in the player and the manager sorts out the detail.
Too hard to say which league more importantly they get offers/bites.
The it decided who and where.
Happy for any in view of advancing their skill set and career for its only for so long.

What if poppa gets offered a decent job? That would be interesting
Heather Garriock and Football Australia will be extending Popovic's contract at the Socceroos for longer if we continue to make history at the World Cup though.

Jordan Bos to Real Madrid and Lucas Herrington to Barcelona? You heard it here first ;)

But in all seriousness it will be curious if we will see moves for our boys after the World Cup, normally in the past players will get their moves after a good World Cup now with online scouting and the data that goes with it times have changed but I don't think performing well at a World Cup will not harm their chances of getting greater moves.

All these guys have been rumoured to clubs for a couple of years and have always been scouted by bigger clubs. Performing at the World Cup just validates the scouting. The clubs already know all of these players well, most of the latest rumours came out before the World Cup even started. It more so helps players like Okon, Beach and Italiano who are also young and talented but hadn't kicked on like the others, as all three have higher ceilings than where they're currently playing.

I expect:

Okon, Bos, Circati, Volpato, Irankunda, Italiano, Beach, Herrington and Souttar to all get possible moves or rumours. Possibly Metcalfe. Okon, Beach and Italiano probably won't be for big clubs but will be stronger European moves. The others are all a chance to be playing in top 5 leagues very soon if not already and some specifically playing for bigger clubs.

If not now, then in the next year or two, we will head into 2030 Qualifying with a lot more pedigree and aura.

I'm also excited for Robertson to be playing in the Championship next season, feel like he's at a point to really get his name out there and become a mainstay for us. Regardless of his great performances, it was hard for him to become an anchor in this team whilst playing in League One.

Bos can play for anyone in the world. Literally anyone. Real Madrid, Bayern, City, anyone.. He’s probably top 5 right back in the world

Herrington - struggling to see the hype. Obviously composed, 18yo etc but the best centre backs have elite ability on the ball and I don’t see that yet

Volpato - absolute baller. He has something that’s severely lacking in Aussies footballers, the ability to retain possession in tight spaces. He’ll probably get a move to a top 5 Serie A side in rhe near future

Irankunda - sometimes I’m blown away, other times I’m thinking this is all one big hoax. He was atrocious v Paraguay, couldn’t even execute a simple pass. Obviously doenst help being played out of position

Beach - elite athlete but his distribution isn’t elite. Probably somewhere like Holland or Germany

This covers it all.

Leeds are looking for a left footed centre back.

He hasn't appeared at the WC so far but a few rumours around Devlin's next destination, the most recent being Rangers. Not really a natural fit imo but maybe with McInnes in charge he would be a starter. The more persistent rumours have MLS clubs pursuing his signature with Real Salt Lake leading the way ahead of Seattle Sounders and Chicago Fire.

I hope Metcalfe leaves St Pauli. He should aim for around a mid-table club in Bundi, imo.
I agree. I hope Metcalfe finds a new club. He has a unique playing profile. He isn't a flashy winger. Finding the right fit may take some work.

Mainz play with a back 3 and are short on CB's. Would love to see Souttar there.
I think Hannover are looking around for a GK going off transfer rumours and that might be a good step for Beach
