Dug up civilization 4 on a sick day.....unfortunate to be sick on the weekend

Anyway, civilization is pretty darn hard. I can't get past emperor difficulty. Anyone a civ player?

Played Civ 6 before but only on hot seat multiplayer where I control everyone, never on single player.

Yeah played Civ 6. The problem is it can take up your entire day in a blink of an eye

Yeah love Civ, although it's been a few years since I've been in it. Not such a fan of the later ones, think it peaked around 3 or 4.

Anyone play Football, Tactics and Glory? One of the most addictive little games I've come across, been a few years on it now haha

Lowest difficulty is quite manageable for new players and it may also be helpful to change some settings upon game setup depending on how you want to play.

Yep, Civ 6 gets a workout from me.
On the default difficulty setting ("Prince", IIRC) it's about right difficulty for me.

Agree that it does take a long time to play.
I like a game where you can sit down in an evening, and play the entire thing in 2-4 hours. Civ 6, if you don't pick the "quicker" game mode, seems to be double that, so it takes ~2+ evenings to play a game.
