Doing good business here.
Luckily the biz owners are very well off fam they look after me brilliantly perfect hosts.
Tomorrow public hol heading to winery for lunch an hour out of town after a few days of hard work ! :)

I once drive with a venezuelan guy from Santiago to mendoza, 7 hours from memory. What a drive that was. Incredible - he was hilarious too. Very dodgy guy but we got along well. He had a woman in every town from santiago to mendoza lol

What are you plans for when you are there?
If you've got a woman in every town along a 7 hour stretch things can't be too bad!

Just ask the cartels nicely. They probably have a staw hut free.
lol I'd take it under the circumstances.
Traffic is grid lock best of times in the city - least with them you'd get fast tracked to be at the games on time haha might cost you a arm or leg unless you got a wad full of US$ !

the halloween vibe is in full swing here @ Santiago.
Staggers me how many other countries have taken it on.
I checked up it wasn't the yanks who started it but the Celts !
Back in my young days growing up at home we never ever celebrated it.
As my kids were growing up it started becoming the fad to follow, now hence commercialised heaps.

Fresh produce ala chile

Haha
Well not just at the coffee shops - they are everywhere haha

Went for a quick jaunt over to Christchurch yesterday courtesy our good friends at Emirates. Early AM flight over, on the ground for a couple of hours (enough time for a stroll and a nice feed), then onto the evening flight home. PY over, J class back. Beat working that’s for sure!

Once flew Melbourne to Sydney in an A380 which was then continuing to Hawaii. It was like a private jet. Hardly anyone on it.
Similar to that, in the early 90's flew back from Tokyo to Sydney in a Qantas 747, then Sydney to Brisbane in the same 747 that had 4 passengers. I was pissed off that the plane didn't stop in Brisbane direct from Tokyo, as my trip had started with a Helsinki to Tokyo leg and I was keen for the trip to finish.

I've always wondered what provisions there are if a plane emergency lands somewhere and the passenger is much closer to home. When the protestors disrupted Frankfurt airport you had big planes going all over and I've always wondered what would happened if it landed in Hannover and not Frankfurt. I'd certainly ask if I could just have my bag and go but they'd have coaches or rail tickets waiting. The former you may not be able to escape from.

I did a monster trip from Dallas to Sydney in one of those without stopping. Amazing range.

I've done that lonnnng ride many many times - 17hr.
380 was brilliant, its smooth as - better than current Deamliners imo.
Heading to Riyadh Dec 2 - Emirates - 380/800.

Got back from Chile/Vegas couple of weeks back.
Man I can't stand US domestic flying, they have so many delays, hate Delta, flight delayed twice LA > Vegas.

A friend of mine recently flew from London to San Francisco on United. They upgraded him to business class pre flight and he was so chuffed that he instagrammed everything that happened on the flight. The business class lounge, the business class cabin, the drinks, the food....himself sitting in business class......

Some time later that day his house was burgled.....

Arghhhh...

Never put your holidays on Instagram until you get home......
