Don't understand why the club sent this kid on one of the biggest radio stations. Was mata unavailable?
That’s not what bothers me about this - rather it’s this tired trite schtick of appealing to AFL bogans* on their media-turf. We really should be over any compulsion to attempt it by now, honestly - 9/10 it’s for nothing in the end💡

*TBF I acknowledge that Billy Brownless & Dale Thomas are among the good ones w/regards to treatment of ⚽️, but the exception never invalidates the rule..

Where would you send him instead to do Media

Whats the record for total crowds in a weekend? 2 derbies and a round of championship which about 18k

could be many reasons - contractual? He has other commitments.

Maybe he is lined up on something bigger. They can only do so much, physically and contractually.

But people listening to them will be going to games?
😶What gives you the impression they wouldn’t❓

Do you actually think the bogan p1$$pot deros who listen to TripleM can be counted on as a demographic in support of 🇦🇺⚽️ at any level/capacity, other than their occasional bout of Socceroos/Tillies bandwagoning❓

Get real💡

Yeah it's a interesting discussion. I think tbh they probably should do both get players on triple m and the football podcasts that covers both bases is that fair?

Just hoping the terrible looking forecast doesn’t keep some away.

A performance as dismal as the weather. Asleep for the first goal, ball watching for the second. Had a good period in which Mata was making things happen between the lines, but a lack of a striker, or anyone who can hit the side of barn undid us. Our effort in the last thirty was torture. Only highlight was seeing Reec put the ball in the net. Pressure will be building on Diles now.

If you want to put a positive spin on it, the club has no option now but to go into the January Transfer window and sign a striker. If you want any chance to compete for silverware, this has to be a non-negotiable

All depends on the cap and I'd reckon there is not much room.
To get anyone with experience they'd likely also need to lose/transfer a player or two. Problem is that the ones worthy of a transfer are players I would want to keep. Ideal situation is if a player or two agree to mutual contract termination. By player I mean Vergos.
We probably could have had Hiroshi Ibusuki pretty cheap a couple of months ago.
