Let's be frank, if it were to happen...it'd barely crack the Top 10 of most random signings/occurrences in A-Liga history - methinks Dexter Rosales'd have him beat:LOL:
 
The tables pretty wild. We're still last but there is 1 point between us and 6th. We can turn it around if we play well. It's good to see Mata's form.

I was planning a holiday in the tropics in June with the misses. I have since changed it to May in the expectation we won't be playing finals.

One win doesn't mean we have turned things around, but definitely hope I regret rescheduling that holiday.
 
I thought it was a pretty entertaining game. We were slightly outplayed and probably had a little bit of luck. Both teams had solid chances, and this was one of those rare occasions where we took one of ours.

The Xmas derby has had a lot of late drama over the years, and this was another one of them.

Winning consecutive games is welcome and we have 3 consecutive home games coming up that we should realistically win.

I just hope that doesn’t detract from the fact that we need to sign a striker in January.
 
Mata was excellent. What happened at wsw? He’s clearly still great.

It's probably more a case of Davidson being the starting LB and also a 90min player. Not a lot of opportunity in that position.
 
The performances have been much improved. Matas form and class. Velupillays return. Vergos scoring. Esposito settled. It helps.

It was a lot of fun seeing the 5 goals. Velupillay great cross. Mata picking pockets and passes. Reecs last assist was almost the best. Good movements and finishing.

But still can't help think we got a big help from their inexperienced keeper who didn't know whether to come or go. Whatever gives us confidence I guess.

Surprised Genreau isn't back starting.

Still want to see a 9 brought in this transfer window.
