Maybe but doubtful. Does Blooms analytics often pick up aging journeymen? I thought they were focussed on selling for future profit. I doubt Ziereis value is going up from here.

So it seems Gio is prioritising shoring up our defence while we wait on Mata to decide what he’s doing. I feel like we are well covered in that department now. I’d still like to see us sign Davo as a backup to Lino and at CB... We have gone really young with our FBs.

With Nish gone, I really would like to give opportunities to Mikey Ghossaini and Jack Mihailidis. So I sorta half hope we don’t sign any more attacking players unless it’s another striker.

If we are unable to sign Mata, I would be making Ajdin Hrustic our number 1 priority.

It's a bit of an enigma. I expected him to leave 12 months ago, but the overseas interest wasn't there. There is talk of overseas interest now... and so there should be after going to the WC. He shouldn't come back to the A-League or to Victory. He's just turned 25 and it's time to spread his wings.
 
hearing Isuzu UTE A League Men regular season will be on pause for Asian Cup (not sure length of the break) coming from Jets member Matt Vandenberg confirmed it though we will wait for official confirmation when 2026/27 fixture release comes out that is why men's decider is scheduled for June 5/6 as a result.
 
Wellington away R1. I guess someone has to travel to NZ to begin with, but a little underwhelming if you wanna start the season off with a bang. I was hoping for Adelaide away.
