Boro and bottle start with the same letter.

Yeah there's definitely an element of 'bottling it' when you look at the 'days spent in the top 2' stats but to be honest we were probably overachieving a bit too....

Both Ipswich and Southampton's squads are much better than Middlesbrough's and they were almost nailed on to bounce back by all the pundits pre-season. As were Leicester and well....

I thought top 6 for us at the start would have been a great season to be honest!

Coventry and Millwall are both extremely well coached sides in my opinion considering their resources.

Ipswich lead on 3min. By no means are they the worst club to go up but again so soon sees the novelty wear off.

Gillingham were, after 7 games, undefeated and leading League 2 on 19 points. To end up after 46 games with 53 points and in 17th place is a disappointment to say the least. One day :(:(

Why are you happy Wrexham didn’t make the playoffs? Tall poppy syndrome maybe?
Tall poppy? They've not earned this rather bought it. Reynolds is around then that other actor clown follows him around like a lapdog.

Ask the rest of the EFL how it felt coming in with new money way out of proportion and a media circus. If it were sustainably and organically grown then OK but the way the club is now it's abandoned its working class routes and the original supporters will eventually be priced out.

It's really an up and down season. Was it Cheltenham who were terrible at the start then stabilised? Shrewsbury looks way off too. Thankfully both survived. Barrow changes the geographic layout while Harrogate was always small but a good away day.

Surely he gets the sack after such a “bad season” (we’re talking about a newly-promoted club that stayed up by the way) and essentially calling his own players “wastes of time”. Managers who think their team is doing poorly should resign as many have before.

Rubbish they have only bought the players necessary to compete in the Championship.
Like I said tall poppy syndrome. The people of Wrexham will still be number one for this club, obviously you don’t know that part of Wales very well.

The rate at which they've been able to get quality players in is faster than any other club in the EFL.

Their recruiting from the 5th to 3rd division was always of that higher than the grade which allowed them to easily go up.
