PFA and APL wont allow anything to go against Aleague matches. I dont think SBS would have minded, its the FA that set the times in my opinion.

I'm not an A-league supporter but I don't mind the fact that the games don't line up. I think once the Championship becomes a full home and away season than it will be impossible to not have games clashing.

I'm not an A-league supporter but I don't mind the fact that the games don't line up. I think once the Championship becomes a full home and away season than it will be impossible to not have games clashing.

Games were already clashing, on a Friday night.

Have to say my mate stopped attending matches about 2 years ago. He finds it easier to watch games on YouTube from his house in Lilydale (that's at least an hour away from Lakeside here in Melbourne).

yep everything at your finger tips sure does make it easier to decide depending kind of day you've had ? geography ? getting away from the Mrs's ? your on a promise ? you couldn't be stuffed ? the couch and remote ?
Nothing beats being out there "live" and then that depends the game it is haha

Youtube live games has pretty much ended my away game South Melbourne attendance, couldnt even tell you the last time i saw South play away at Dandenong. Unless it close or a final im not bothering.

Im referring to the general football supporter. These times are not ideal. If they were we would see A league semi finals played at midday and 3.

Why not play it at 9 am like the under 10s? 2 hour game, then you’ve got the whole day free after that to do what you want with it

In an ideal world, the semi finals would have been scheduled for Friday 7.30pm and Saturday 7.00pm.

Grand Final would be Saturday 7pm
