The Australian Championship 🇦🇺🏆

We don't have two years. It needs to be sorted in by this time next year to be able to start the following year so that the extra teams have a chance to form their teams.
Its dumbfounding, Clubs themselves wont have a problem as long as the timeline is clear... 2 years of this, (sure), then h&a, the problem is they dont ever even say that, continuing to fuel the doubts!

The devil is always in the details, and the details here, remain worrying!

NWS Spirit joins the Championship as the NSW premiers.
St George could still score 4 in the second half though 😂 I saw a 5 goal comeback last weekend actually!

Bayswater would also qualify tonight with a draw against Stirling. No Boland for the Championship.

Wollongong playing at Collegians is interesting - would've been nice to play at least one game at Showgrounds, also would've expected John Crehan Park maybe to be the secondary option instead. Collegians isn't a bad ground by any means but for a club that's played at so many grounds just not one I can remember them playing at (since it was redeveloped at least, obviously at one point they were going to play there permanently).

Also TBC on Bayswater City? I haven't been to Frank Drago but it doesn't look that bad? Especially if games are being played at Metrostars/TK Shutter and Avenger Park for Avondale. Unless it's related to redevelopment that has been mentioned at times?

At the risk of sounding like an armchair critic, bizarre fixturing all round from a Marconi perspective. Saturday 1pm kickoffs, the only noteworthy fixture v what’s likely to be v Heidelberg to be played on a Friday night reducing ability of fans to travel etc (seems to be the case for a few of the bigger interstate fixtures)

Marconi almost always play home games Saturday night or Sunday afternoon which has worked up until now. I wonder how much input clubs got. Do they want people to go to the games or not
