Ha just seeing score update !
Starc got the Root !
4 down - now need Stokes - how many more overs left in this night session ?

back to back howlers from the umpire

is it tricky umpiring under lights?

why the heck did he review that, massive nick

4 wickets left to make Australia bat again

well we at least last 4 days which i guess is a moral victory. Will probably be all over by the time I wake up tomorrow

Going to take a heroic knock from Stokes to delay Australia's win here. 43 behind so maybe we can just get it done before then. Might have a target of 40.

I recon that last session of bowling from the Aussies was our best of the series.

6-89 in conditions where the pitch was only providing occosional aasistance and swing wasn't a major fsctor.

England will opt for the heavy roller again and the pltich might start out tame.

The Aussies are in the grove and I can't see England forcing the pace.

Best hope of England is to wear our bowlers down and slowly chip away at the lead, these 2 need to get a lead before they lose another wicket.

It is a real pressure cooker suitation, especially for young Jacks, who has had pretty good gsme.

The way they describe being in oz during an ashes reminds me of what it was like going to uruguay during a world cup qualifier. I guess we are a cricket nation!

Both Doggett and Neser found a better rhythm.

Live in the Shield, Neser bowls a lot of balls -134 -136kph on the speed gun.

It wasn’t working when Doggett bowled, but would surmise he is similar pace.

Both bowled a lot more balls at this speed last night at the Gabba and found a better length with the pink ball. Boland’s length was better too. It created more overall pressure from Aus.

Seeing Jacks bowl with bounce and turn at times, we were nuts dropping Lyon.

Crawley batted well again for the Poms.

Stokes is a quality cricketer with bat and ball.

DC, Ward and Silk have to lift Tassie back into the contest today.

Ward (66) Silk (46) is less than needed and Doran failed, no surprise there.

Chaudhary scored a thrilling ton last game, can he repeat the dose and drag along the tail with him.

Blues have a stranglehold on this game yet they have not enforced the follow on and kept a strong foot on their throat. Poor captaincy.

Still Sam Konstas wont mind as he has added a 50 to his f/i century.

Whether you're a big cricket fan or not, The Ashes is such a great sporting spectacle. But for England to come to Australia so under-prepared and look so spasmodic in their approach, well it is unforgivable really.

Australia's cricket team at home are unremitting in terms of how they approach an Ashes series.

If I was one of these thousands of English fans who have spent tens of thousands of pounds coming over to support their team I'd be absolutely fucken annoyed about the lackadaisical attitude shown by the entire England cricket team, not just the players but the entire organisation from top to bottom...
