Steve Rosich Interview

Another ‘word salad’ from Rosich.
With regard to the broadcast deal it’s ‘conversations are going well’ and are expected to be finalised ‘within the next month’ and with the ownership of the Mariners he said ‘we’re on the cusp of finalisation and announcement’.
As for Canberra United well talks with the ACT government were ‘positive’.
It seems like all talk and no action.
The Mariners deal has been done. I gather the only thing holding it up now is the signing of the Club Participation Agreement and and the FIRB review (since APL were involved the CPA should not be a problem and you would think the FIRB would have been made aware a long time ago.

One day a a league club will sell a player directly to a epl for 7 digits and people will start jumping on the bandwagon.

Who are the new backers? Can you say?

I don't know why we keep making statements about other sports and wanting to be third most popular. Just work through the "to do" list and get the league healthy!

The new Australian Professional Leagues chief executive, Steve Rosich, has declared his goal for the A-Leagues is to eclipse cricket’s Big Bash and see off the National Basketball League’s challenge to be the third pillar of Australian sport.

Same dribble as the previous idiots that have to associate football with other sports instead of focusing on improving it. I look forward to the next guy in 3-4 years saying the same shit.

Well we're essentially watching the a league to see players go to the epl. So technically we're actually eurosnobs when you think about it
WTF are you on about? You are watching Aleague to "see players go to the epl"? Why? what do you get out of a player from a random Aleague club getting a transfer to a random EPL club? Does it matter what the club is or is your generation all non-binary?

Im so confused. Don't you all follow clubs, or is that interchangeable too? Does it matter who wins or loses?
