It is a distinct possibility, but no one knows with the out of his depth Kevin Thelwell doing the recruitment at Ibrox.

In his one season with us, he won three trophies, or the treble, if you like, yet never got picked in a squad to play Celtic. No prizes for guessing why.

BTW: this is the second time he has applied for the job, yes applied, not approached.

He had some brilliant teammates in that squad. Barry Ferguson, Amoruso, Klos and of course de Boer.

Fabulous Rangers team.

Alex McLeish must have liked Muscat because he was touting him for the job this week.
 
just on the side re the talk of back in the SPL days.......
Mono liking Muskys style - of play suited SPL then spot on for we know what his main skill was :)
I rated good ol Moore far more than Musky, way better but again another top tuff player of the past game.
Are our aussie player too precious there nowadays ?
Sutho ? and how much do you rate Moore ?
I loved him in our Roo backline back in the day.

Also - glad SG opted no I had seen the press about it obviously.

Yes he did, but said he couldn’t trust him to play against Celtic 🤣

Moore was excellent in his first spell, not so second time around. Big Tony Vidmar was really good for us as well .

One great memory of Moore was him wiping out Viduka with a great (Scottish style) tackle along the touch line that nearly had the bold Mark ending up in the west enclosure of the main stand at Ibrox.

Nothing wrong with a good old fashioned enforcer on the team.... Someone's gotta keep the step over princesses honest :P
