Definitely the kicking away of the ball is an issue for Irvine.

Ok lots of positives. Herrington was a bit like another Souter. Composed on the ball, well placed passes. Volparto good, but tries to milk fouls too much. Volparto and Bos team up really well. Love how late in the piece Bos backed himself to do it all alone. Although finishing...yeah...nah...like that curling Bos shot was good. Aziz needs to calm a bit. Circati good, Irvine brought the team together as a unit much more. He just seems to float, like his off the ball running and positioning is so good. Volparto, Bos and Irvine made a good unit. Irankunda was just out muscles. Maybe see Yengi earlier or Toure. Metcalfe was good, but quiet after the knock. Also, and this is a big one, we were allowed off the leash to attack. The players look more like they were enjoying themselves more.

This is what i was thinking. Its unlikely we will see the team play in this timeslot again either.

Feel like we need a knockout game scalp to be considered a succesful tournament.

I didn't find the game dull at all. It was tense to grind out the result and keep them at bay. Hrustic was fine in the channel today. It was supposed to be a slower, short passing game.

Dont think anyone would have found that dull, it was enthralling and cagey.

Two knockout stages in a row. Not imploding to pressure. Despite the circumstances we looked much better given the space on the ball. The game was one of a few probes but it was clearly both teams desired a draw.
