I’m expecting Croatia to get at least a point against Ghana. Then Iran probably draws against Egypt and goes ahead of us on GD. I just can’t us going through with a loss. We really needed Ecuador to not win at least.

We're equal in discipline with South Korea and then it'd be FIFA rankings. I expect we'll get one card annulling the discipline aspect. If we lose 2:1 and get a card then that would be a horrible way of being ranked.

Lucas Herrington played both pre-tournament friendlies and in the FIFA Series on home soil before today but by starting in the World Cup proper he'll be locked in as a Socceroos player for life.

If we lose 1-0, our GD would be 2-3, which is exactly the same as Korea. Means we can’t afford a single yellow card in that scenario, which seems unrealistic. So basically, if we must lose, it would need to be 2-1 to give us any kind of chance.
