Socceroos vs Canada/USA Oct 25

I don't think we can do Iran in a practice game until we play them in one that counts.
 
A big window brewing. I expect a few A league inclusions.
 
The dream for this next squad is getting Goodwin and McGree back in if fit at the expense of Boyle and Hrustic. The latter two can do things also.

Meanwhile getting Segecic, Milanovic playing more can only help them grow into the squad.
 
Boyle and Hrustic have to be dropped, I wanna see the kids play more games against harder opponents. I know i carry on about the kiwis and they did put up a good fight but there nothing compared to the USA and Canada. Its a shame we only have 2 games left to test our players out, Goodwin is class and when fit he has to be selected. I have a feeling Poppa will keep Boyle over Segecic cum world cup.

2 more games? We should have November and March too but that's when we've really got to start some consistency.

Also we'll hopefully get one or two games pre world cup.

Wouldn't mind knowing our November ones now.

Talk of a Brisbane game. I'd personally prefer a European based camp. Oh, the wiki of friendlies will be much more current now so teams should be more clearly available. African Nations that missed out are free as are South Americans.

Finland hosting Andorra in a friendly. Why can't we pounce on that? They're also in Germany next May. Germany hosting Ivory Coast in March.

Even Cyprus and Estonia have a November friendly.

Honestly, give me Nigeria and Chile in November based in Germany.

Id like most games to be euro based to avoid injuries from jetlag

November has a lot of play off matches going so getting games might be hard. Would like to see us play Tunisa and/or Uruguay.

Some of the bigger names may be available at this rate. Cape Verde lead Cameroon.

Senegal have fought back against DR Congo.

Unless age catches up with him he will be a valuable squad member with his experience. He would also be a handy defensive starter in a game where its important we don't concede early and a sub if we are defending a lead. I think Bos is a better LWB option if we are attacking But I would like to see them both on the field with Bos more advanced on the left to see how that works in one of the upcoming friendlies. The next four matches should be to try a few things out. Winning isn't that important.
 
yer this is going to be a much better guide/viewing playing against Canada/USA depending what/who Popa selects and plays.
I agree with posts quoting NO more Boyle/Hrustic - only as injury fillers IF need be one day.
I'm excited of our promising attack of pace and not afraid to take them on and shoot - the 2 lads are young but damn refreshing to see after all this time of Duke/Boyle.
Yes the Behich Bos outlook I suppose is good - on one hand the ol bloke has the experience and pulls off the unexpected as he did but Bos is a way better gifted young player of the future - LB will be his no doubt in time or even higher up the flank.
