Con was the times of tv dark humour that taught skips to lol a little at us wogs expense.
Got look at the bright side sometimes we have survived.
NG just different similar outlook.
Great times in Oz imo all round but I’m a ol buzz that people see a dinausor but happy happy

Change is inevitable, it was a great time back then but this time its different to what we were used to. Its not our time anymore, its our kids turn

Again - why the lesson of time before politically.
Not needed.
I just enjoyed a ok doco of football history and to date.
Relax and I’m not dead yet last I saw :)

Pre-war history discussion has only been recent. There’s this book from the book thread as an example and I would like to read it

Sorry mate, no political lessons were meant.

I just watch a documentary on the 1974 world cup side that was the side that got me to love the socceroos. It was special to hear where they all came from and called Australia home.

Well dropping in Hanson and then kids time just isn’t on the subject at hand but I’ll forgive you.

As for ‘74 well that who we grew up with so naturally we lived it.
A older player from my local club was selected and benchy - played some games.
Unlike you with no club my dad was taking us to games so many were already hero’s before we qualied.
Apia naturally and many St George games because my Nonna Nonno lived at Blakehurst.
