Ryan Reynolds-owned Wrexham set to face Melbourne Victory

The higher up the pyramid you go, the more it costs to run a club, so, obviously prices will shoot up.
Sure yet it's the way and speed things have been done. Would I be less annoyed if they didn't have the Hollywood circus? Maybe. The issue I take with clubs like this is they'll very quickly price out the true supporters who've been going for decades.

The EFL has its own issues and isn't exactly cheap but there's just about enough hope for everyone to still be able to go to games and for it to be a little bit honest. EPL is great in its own ways but it's not for the average citizen.

Looking forward to these games!, Wellington have a depleted side so i doubt we can get a result however should still be a good hit out.

Waiting for these tickets to drop 50% in the last hour pls

I wonder what squad we will even form.

Costa still not back from break

When David Beckham's LA Galaxy came out to play Sydney FC at Telstra Stadium in 2007 it drew a crowd of around 80,000. It was quite the event...

It impressed a lot of people within the game and outside of the game including sockah sceptic extroadinaire and rugby league identity Phil Gould who reckoned "soccer could be as big as rugby league one day".....

It also impressed Craig Foster who said he really enjoyed the event and seeing so many people at a football match in Australia.

It didn't impress serial David Beckham hater Les Murray who whinged his way through the game on Twitter picking up the Ch10 commentary on just about every word.

It didn't impress me either who watched about 20 minutes of it then turned the channel over....

All I remember about that game was that there was a player called Biddle (or Buddle) on both teams.

Ironic given that Gus attended one of Johnny Warren’s ⚽️ clinics as a kid, according to JW’s book.
