Rivalry Watch

scotland struggling to cope with the multicultural nature of the world game

Lots of English people in there realistically.

Obviously a piss-take, e.g., Somalian flag for Angus Gunn :giggle:. I wonder what that means?
Angus Gunn is English. I presume everyone who’s English just got a different flag lol. John Souttar is actually half Aussie though and is Harry’s brother. Lyndon Dykes was also born in Australia but is listed as being LGBTQI lol, seemingly because many Scottish fans didn’t want him picked. Or maybe because of his surname being the same as the plural form of a homophobic slur.

In one of the more unusual friendlies, India and Jamaica are playing at The Valley. Cat A Tickets were 80 pounds but I wonder what the lower categories were. It would've been a good opportunity given the size of the communities in London.

Ryan Williams also named in the starting XI for India in their friendly against Jamaica.

Jamaica won 2–0. They’re really not getting great wins over some low quality sides.

Curacao up 1 nil against scotland with posession and chances even

Its a strong scottish xi as well, albeit missing mctominey

Billy Gilmour off with a knee issue. 40min against Curaçao to potentially miss Brazil, Morocco and Haiti. Honestly, our two practice games just aren't that important.

My lets protect our XI from injury XI. Has some guys that are either less important, robust or needs mins. Probs more v Swiss because it's too early for Volpato.

USA's first goal looked pretty darn hard to stop. Will be a really tough opponent, a really impressive goal

I think watching the MLS I've never seen a league emphasis speed as much. They are really soft at the back, would have given away a soft pen if var was active 12 minutes in

Two really good goals

Gotta make sure there arent gaps between the wing backs and cbs and we can transition from a mid block to a deep block quickly enough

One of their goals last time against us came from leaving space. This is why Devlin is important. He'll smother a lot of those plays.

Senegal pull one back, 2-1

SHould be 2 all with a good pen shout waved away

Both teams really open at the back but with electric attack
