Hi Everyone!
I've been given permission to post here by the mods/Green and Gold FC team — thanks for having me.
I'm Declan Forrester, a lecturer and researcher at Southern Cross University, and I'm running a study looking at how Socceroos supporters perceive and respond to colours, timed to coincide with the 2026 World Cup. This builds on published research into colour associations in Australian sporting communities (we previously looked at State of Origin supporters), and this is the Socceroos version of that work.

I've also attached an information sheet that gives a bit more detail and context about what I'm looking at and asking.

- Fully online
- Around 20-30 minutes on any device
- Open to any Australian Socceroos supporter aged 18+ (or any Australian adult with a passing interest in the World Cup)
- Ethics approved by Southern Cross University (Approval No. 2021/024)
