I've just stopped mentioning both places to eachother, other than you know where. Was a bit of a rant on the discord today about here (focusing on this thread mostly, and all the off topic stuff).

I just want a place to talk futbol mostly. If I don't agree with politics, or whatever, I just don't engage. Same goes here (usually)

I just don’t get it. He’s still an Aussie. I get that he’s kinda a traitor but the topic of the sub is “Australian football”. They were fine with Aamir Abdallah and Charles M’Mbombwa’s goals at AFCON being posted (though I guess the circumstances are different cause they were never getting capped). The Cristian Volpato one I posted a few months ago didn’t get removed but it got a lot of hate (funny since he could be capped for the Socceroos this month).

I also think my post of Riley Tanner’s goal for Panama (she plays for Sydney FC) got removed despite being fine last time. Clearly A-League-related. What even are the rules lol?

Sorry HSP I love your stuff but have to side with the bots on this. This man declined playing for the socceroos. This is the equivalent of posting a picture of a girl that rejected you.

I mean he’s still an Aussie though. And he initially accepted a call-up, then didn’t play and Greece came calling so he switched to them. It absolutely sucks balls, as did Lyndon Dykes picking Scotland, but it doesn’t erase his nationality.

As for the Riley Tanner goal (not sure if it got restored or not cause I haven’t been assed to check), A-League subs should allow A-League players’ highlights overseas. r/SydneyFC didn’t mind at all which is good.

Do we apply the same logic go other Aussies who don’t play for Australia or just him because of his situation? Aamir Abdallah, Lyndon Dykes, Charles M'Bombwa, Anthony Pavlešić, Josh Sotirio, Ryan Williams, etc?
