Couldn't see any threads for the recent episodes, but just wanted to say this was really well done. Only just got to it today as I have fallen behind on podcasts.

I read soccernomics probably 15 years ago. Framed a lot of how I think about football. I had not heard his arguments about P&R before, but I am 100% on board now. All the emotional appeals about historical clubs, fairness, opportunity, tradition in other countries, did nothing for me. The football free market haha, yep I'm convinced.

One thing the pod taught me was to spare a thought for those cardboard box manufacturers who dont have any friends
