Perth Glory vs AC Milan

I get the angst but seriously what would you expect.
Just shows the highs and Lows where it really is and not having a more competitive local competition.
On top of that Milan - pedigree - had a crap season finished 8th !
Bring along their youth with some key players like Loftus Cheek/Leao for a walk in the park.
No Pulisic, they just signed up ol man Modric, imagine if he came for the holiday park game against the kids.
Allegri vs Zdrilic - gawd what a comparo.
Good luck to them both Milans are class Clubs despite massive enemies :)

Not purposefully mate... Sydney beat a newly promoted 2nd division side in a meaningless friendly and the narrative was "Glory to Australian football" Yet now it's supposed to not matter that our true level is exposed?

Nah I just want fair reporting when we beat these overseas team we need a bit of exposure. The reporters should hype up the Australian talent not talk us down

THEY WERE FRIENDLIES!!!!!!!!!!!!! Nobody cares, Wrexham and Milan just sold a shittonne of merch and a couple of promoters made bank... WHO CARES??????
 
There should be no bar to consider re these games but its natural tbh but for the games exposure that is lacking and for how many years that has been, thats right MCG media wise but you lack a pro active media APL let alone the FA.

Alot of the 80s visiting sides played an Australia B side too - Still remember Juve at the G.

All good, but when I proposed an interstate competition (which we could run on the FIFA dates in a calendar year) I got howled down as infeasable. I reckon it would be a goer as there would be 3 or 4 States that would like their chances of success, which would make for a fairly meaningful competition.

Youre not thinking the big picture.

We all know these friendlies suck but the point is it's Australian football attention the leagues need people to come in and everyone finds a new way to get on the sport
