Likewise Marconi. Haven’t been as clinical in front of goal this season as last due to the loss of temelkovski to the wanderers who was the main striker and top goal scorer. Was a great player. He was never really replaced. Marconi we’re probably a stronger team last season than this one

And he’s now doing very well at Eastern in Hong Kong and in the ACL2.

Such a good player, always thought he was massively underrated. Great touch, powerful, eye for goal, capable of scoring great goals or just reading the play to be at the right place at the time

Win or lose tomorrow its STILL been a hell of a season... 90 or 120 mins of football shouldn't be used as the measure we judge Sisi and the squad on for the year.... Still we fight till the end as always... whatever happens happens.
 
We had no business challenging for trophies this year let alone having the chance to win 2. To go from pure relief when we gathered enough points to avoid relegation to being in this position is staggering.

That said tomorrow probably is our biggest game post nsl. A win would finally rid us of the Esteban stench and would put the horrors of those 3 grand finals behind us.

I know, our worst season in decades and we are still collecting silverware FORZA HELLAS!!!!!!!!!
 
What does it say that South had its WORST season in years and is competing in a Grand Final to win a second major trophy. Heidelberg had its best season in decades and could only win one major piece of silverware

Absolutely spot on @southmelb ! If we win this Grand Final, then the last 3 grand final losses are no longer discussed. If we win on Saturday, South will be the best club outside the A League. It puts us on another level to promote the club to corporates and hopefully retain some of the patrons who have attended during this competition.
