Official South Melbourne Hellas thread 🔵⚪

Is there any club in Sydney you DIDN'T jump on the bandwagon of mate? hahahahahaahahaahah
Haha
Fam - friends - sources/connections.get you around grounds.
Original spirit was purely due to close geography - APIA is no 1 and due to ol man SU a close 2nd.
Blood is blood.

Our ticket prices have been higher than every other club’s in the Australian Championship. We set our group-stage tickets at $25, while every other club charged $20. Now for the knockout stages, our price is $32 while the rest are at $25. It’s really disappointing from the club we should be doing everything we can to get as many fans in the stands as possible

$32 is the most expensive ticket i can ever recall for a game at Lakeside, the npl gf and Australia cup final were cheaper, the balcony brigade is completely out of touch. Good luck getting a packed grandstand.

In the grandstand your covered - sections 1-5.
6-12 no your wet........

Speaking of Alexandros .... I am asking for trouble by speaking ahead of this weeks result(s), but what neutral venue would they play a Hellas Alexandros Semi Final?

Here are the only options I can think of:

Bundoora (I boycott)
Oakleigh (I boycott)
AAMI

I would rather the 2 clubs toss, and whoever wins hosts

Since foundation clubs get priority it would probably be at lakeside

But the website say 'neutral'

"Semi Finals & Championship Final: All matches to be staged at a neutral venue; both Semi Final matches will be played on Saturday 29 November at 1.00pm and 3.00pm AEDT respectively and the Championship Final will be played on Saturday 6 December 2025 at 3.00pm AEDT. "

HOWEVER ...... having said that .... they also said that the quarter finals will all be Saturday and Sunday. And we know that APIA v Marconi is FRIDAY!

F&%k them, if they wanted a right to host they shouldve applied for foundation the tight arses! They didnt/couldnt, so this should/can only be played at ine venue in this state Lakeside!
Im not going choakleigh either and bundoora is a shit hole except for the pitch... if they whinge as usual then we do it at coopers st and let the preston boys decorate the event! 🤣

Heidelberg wouldnt even be in this if a foundation club didnt finish on top (Avondale) so they should just shut up and be glad they're involved. Plus if they're as good as they say they are they should smash everyone regardless of venue choice.

Heidelberg have recently played twice at a packed out Lakeside. It really shouldn't worry them...they're the best team outside of the A League some people tell me. Otherwise play it at Bundoora where we beat them a few months ago in the Docherty Cup final.
