Up to what point do we need to submit our team sheet for the game? Conditions are not going to be good and the risk of injury and red card is quite high.

The Sydney Olympic v Moreton game will end about 20 minutes before we start, if Olympic get a result our game is a dead rubber, do we throw in the Menelaou, Inglese, Pope, Leech, types?

Not sure when the team sheet needs to be submitted but I'd say probably a couple hours before kickoff, and even if Sydney Olympic get a result our last two matchdays will be dead rubbers anyway because we've already clinched finals and have essentially topped group A.

Its only a dead rubber if Olympc get a result, if Moreton wins and we lose we are actually playing for top spot on the final match day. Our GD is only like +3 ahead of Moreton City.

Stack up the defence for practice, some looked like they had a week off last week... bonada should slide back in habib can start, mikkola in, rest uchida play pasquali for cosistency, start menelaou and play around with the rest... balanced with starters and fringe.

Dont want to lose to BMM at home though either, prefer them out of the running, not fussed bout next week.
 
Yeah its a hard one because you want to see a good performance in front of the fans that brave the weather to rock up but balance the squad at the same time.

Hopefully Olympic get the job done and we can experiment more with the team.
 
Good takeaways:
Giannakop is a solid fill in if needed at the back, but we lose that pitbull bite in the middle. Menelaou did well against weak opposition, so will be a good reating option for NPL.

Cant work out if habib just doesnt run or runs so awkwardly he gives the impression of not running, surely doesnt mark though!

Kaddour im assuming needs time as he has some good parts to his game but im not sure he is a right back, got caught out of position way too much didnt he?

I think id have run Bonada in the modfield today and had lavale start.

Bad takeaways:
This thing with Msrouni has to be a joke now!
Jankovic gives me the impression he will burn us at the most wrong time,
 
Important win today in very difficult conditions. The rain didnā€™t stop all match. That definitely impacted the crowd attendance today.

Aguek was lively upfront. Has a good understanding of where to position himself. Giannakopolous, Lampard , and Lopez had good games today. Great to see Lampard get on the scoreboard again.

Clear red card for the Broadmeadow Magic player.

With Moreton City and Sydney Olympic drawing today, weā€™ve now secured top spot in the group. Weā€™ve probably got lucky by being in the easiest of the four groups.

As for the last game away to Moreton City, best to start some of the second string players to have our best starting XI as rested as possible.

We really are missing Marshall in defence. Giannakopoulos was handy in defence but prefer him in the central midfield.
