Not half wrong...only problem is you will need to hire a clean up crew to pick up the 'kilotes and soutien and maybe the old sovrako' from the pitch at its conclusion from all those real football fans present.... one would also hope that 'kolombaras' wouldnt be packaged in do the cooking... bc he will certainly be there if there is even the suspicion of a camera! HahaaThink he has to return to Athens for a weekend event then begins his north american tour.
Tell you what get him singing for half an hour you'd get 10k

Same here.... all time GOAT. Every time he touched the ball you expected something to happen.Trimmers will ALWAYS be my all time favourite Hellas player!! I still get goosebumps everytime i see him associated with SMFC!
I guess we'll just have to wait and see in the next few months what this looks like.... First things first is tomorrow though. The club really needs to outline what 12 months of pro football looks like for us, how the squads will work, whose coaching the npl team and whose coaching the ofc team overseas etc.
My gut feel is the ofc is going to be too lucrative for us not to have it as the number 1 priority but the fan base will be agitated if that comes at the expense of another piss poor npl campaign.
I've heard some of the second stringers (Skapoulas/Durso etc) have been told to keep fit for the OFC... if those boys are playing the matches I assume it'll be a bit of a reserves teamThe club really needs to outline what 12 months of pro football looks like for us, how the squads will work, whose coaching the npl team and whose coaching the ofc team overseas etc.

That sounds like a really decent plan to be honest.. Having "fringe" players playing in a competition like this can only strengthen the complete squad... The big question as southmelb asks is how the two squads are going to be "registered" for each competition - 30 players (reported) all training as professional players is fantastic work but how many are going to be playing (or will be allowed to play) in BOTH?I've heard some of the second stringers (Skapoulas/Durso etc) have been told to keep fit for the OFC... if those boys are playing the matches I assume it'll be a bit of a reserves team

some of the other "teams' In this reportedly only have 1 or 2 players registered so far, plenty of time for us to decide I feel.Im assuming we believe these second stringers can get the job done in ofc. No idea how strong this comp will be. It starts Jan 17 so i wonder if we send our best team for the first hub. IF we can register everyone for both comps (prob cant)
