Nah no excuses, we're just not a big club, we're relatively new compared to others. I guess the Greeks of oakleigh would rather sit at nikkos and vanilla then watching football, oh well it is what it is.
 
Tbf @Oakleigh isnt half wrong but it depends on the perspective we give it.. as a national entity (minority) this type of shit shouldve hit a brick wall the minute it appeared (at any grk club)... think of what happens when an israeli flag is burnt in public.. as the ultimate national symbol the burning of the flag is an act of war under other circumstances.. as a community there needs to be the mechanism for one voice on these matters (easier said than done for us Grks)...if we leave it individually we reap what we sow the flares at bergers, the vandalism at oaks and the disgusting banners at south and the racist chants to boot.

Lets not get confused... this does relate to all grks...they didnt respect the one club that showed respect to the animals.. this attack id broadbased and the reaction should fit the attack! south..they may be pissants but they are organised political pissants and hence the need for different handling.. we have a QC this shouldve already become first priority to get punishment by our club...cut the snake at the head

When it relates to football though then all gloves can remain off between the clubs if need be thats no issue... Come friday ill be there with the hatred i have for oaks as a club to see us win hopefully and bag them i wont be burning any flags or chanting illiterate bs!

Never have I claimed Oakleigh to be a big club the biggest thing going around at Oakleigh is Aki and being relatively new don't use that card you have been around for many years 1972 to be precise

Okay i get your point but the fat shaming wasn't necessary. We're competitive and trying to grow our fan base, as a supporter, there's not much more i can ask for. We're a small club who mainly attracts just the players family members, it is what it is, i can only hope we can grow in supporters if we keep winning.

That's honestly what ive been trying to say. They came to your home ground, burnt our flag and mocked our country and made sexist remarks about our women. Of course im going to be upset, that wasn't just an attack on south melbourne supporters, that was an attack on all Greeks.

I could easily say oh good im glad those south supporters copped that, they deserve it, but no im not thinking like that. I'm thinking you south supporters deserve to go to a game and enjoy the competitive entertainment without having to see all that bullshit, especially in front of your family.

I'm not quite understanding why that monoethnic guy is being so hostile, I'm literally throwing my support to south melbourne in this instance, theres nothing shady or mischief about it, im just honestly sick of these preston boys bringing their bullshit behaviour to our games.

He hates oakleigh, okay fine i get it, but in this instance, they attacked all of us so whether he likes it or not, us Greeks are going to band together to stamp this shit out, it's not on.
