This happened in the VFL back in 1965 at Melbourne Football Club with perhaps the greatest coach of all in Norm Smith.

They had just won the 1964 premiership, and were sitting at 8 wins and no losses in 1965.

They suffered a big loss to St Kilda ..... and he was then sacked! Only to be re-instated a few days later.

But this was the end of Melbourne as a power club. They never recovered and missed the finals. And did not return to the finals for another 23 years!!!!!

Both co-presidents have no fucking idea. Would be in the 2nd division and trophy-less without Sinisa. Quicker those cancers get out the better.

Sinisa is one of the best things that has happened to this club in the past 4-5 years... Had a brief chat to him in New Zealand and he does truly love this club, its not just an act... The players all would run through a wall for him, if you notice he has never thrown them under the bus ...... Im so glad the malakismena couldnt got ahead with their bullshit grand plans... Sinisa deserves the job fpr me and will save our season....

I cant read without signing up anymore but I can imagine. Most of them are 15 and have never left the country before.. wouldn't know where Greece is on the map let alone understand anything beyond Messi and Ronaldo memes and collecting imitation jerseys from youtube influencer sites.
 
So the clown guy said the coach walked because he was owed weeks of payment. Now it's come out he's finally been payed and agreed to coach again. Oh south Melbourne, can't you go 5 minutes without embarassing yourself?
