Skapoulas will need to play on Sunday against St Albans. We will run out of legs if the same starting XI back it up on Sunday afternoon.

We really need to start standing up for ourselves.

Thursday is a typical training night for local clubs and a huge afl game will be on at the G at the same time, thats without going into the avoidable short turnaround for the weekend.

We should have pushed hard for Wednesday night.

Every time we land ourselves in a big occasion something always has to go wrong, we lost the Aus championship final hosting at lakeside last yr cos of the athletics. We lost the blockbuster Preston game to a shitty saturday arvo timeslot, and now we get this. Feels like its never gonna click for us.

Ticket sales as of mid last week were going very poorly, hopefully the Oakleigh win sparks a late frenzy.

Not to mention I personally won’t be able to watch it on a Thursday night. That alone is grounds for a change of kick off time imo
