I’d be comfortable with Charlston full time next season but would you say no to bouzanis
Bouzanis too old imo at 35/36... better NPL ready younger keepers around for me! Charlston has a chance to show what he has and is doing fantastically and may well be ready to keep the gloves but an actual successor to javi should already be in the works!

Fair point, having Charlston would be completely fine if he keeps performing how he has been. I’ll share what bouzanis said, to be fair he is getting old but still quality. If he was to come I think he would have a good relo with the fans

"once Im ready" yeah, nah dont think we are his superannuation fund.

Maybe I am too biased, but I think we have a fighting chance against Oakleigh. The squad is much stronger than it was prior to the transfer window. We pushed Preston last week and should have scored.

I am also realistic to know that the smaller pitch at Oakleigh does not suit us. We get an early goal and they will open up.
with someone to throw the ball into the box at I would suggest that the smaller Oakleigh pitch suits us better this season than in the past few...

Tend to agree especially when the club has told him the want to win FFA Cup.

We have made some really impressive signings which any manager would love. Is Sinisa the right man to lead us? I say yes but we never know what the board are thinking
WIN the FFA cup? hahahahahahaha we are a clownshow.

100% without proper firepower upfront from start of season It was never gonna happen.... always too little too late the signings for us... Juach needs time, if by some miracle he is ready and AU dont play a proper side then perhaps a glimmer of hope and above all more time for new signings to gel.. big ifs!

Maybe we can do a Spain and win without forwards? Hehe

I have my reservations about him, mainly based around the team lacking a clear identity when it comes to style of play. We seem to more depend on our individual quality having good games.

Havent seen much progression in his coaching this season.
Don't ALL NPL teams do the same though?

Probably, not many rounds left. If our npl season fizzles out and we get dumped out of the cup i think he may be in trouble. Plus wins like sydney croatias last night and Preston the night before puts even more pressure on.
Why do other teams wins put pressure on us?

Any external pressure to win because other NPL teams knocked out A League teams would be placed on the team by the Board.

Players just need to focus on getting the win and knocking out Adelaide United. This is the only time we will get a chance at having a fair crack at them given they are still in pre-season training. Their AFC Champions League match will be about 10-12 days after our Australia Cup fixture. Our cup match will likely be the last decent hit out they have prior to that AFC Champions League qualifying match.

Its been 22 years since that fateful night at Hindmarsh Stadium. We owe them one. I want revenge.

We got "dumped" out of the Dockerty Cup to "win" the OFC.
We lost the OFC to "win" the battle of egos , and now you expect us to win anything this year?
We are NOT a serious club in case you hadn't noticed?
Μουλωχτα, μουλωχτα we are trying to get another club docked points to even lay a claim to the finals series, we have a roster cobbled together with spit, dreams and ego and a fanbase who only ever remembers we exist when some bullshit happens. They dont come and celebrate our success, they wait to point the finger at our failures....

If we beat Adelaide it will be a miracle and boy oh boy how I bet someone is going to celebrate if our favourite striker gets the winner... hahahahah
He was actually in position last weekend funnily enough... was open at the back post... pity Lackey decided the better course of action was to dribble into the advertising boards

Not much i can fault there at all!! Lol

Still a long way out given how changeable Australian weather can be, but forecast not looking great next Thursday in Melbourne or Sydney unfortunately for you or Olympic. What sort of crowd would you blokes be hoping for that night given everything
