The most important fixtures are against Altona Magic and South Hobart. The match against Heidelberg is a free hit. Defeating Altona and South Hobart will have a bigger bearing on our season.

Undeniably but, we want to start presenting our best foot forward on the last few rounds of the NPL against top 2-3 sides if we are to gel in any way for the Championship.... A decent showing against the Bergers would be a massive morale boost, win, lose or draw...

Still no new signings announced????

I reckon thats on the money.. only hope is hopefully we get avondale on a bad night and manage a final in dockerty cup and you never know on the night (especially since the esteban hoodoo wont be in place).... dont know anything about Sth Hobart but even if we get throug, the challenge is what you come up next round when the minows are all but weeded out..and id hate to get smashed un our current way by an aleague franchise.. Good that we are getting some depth in there for AU champ later as these can be bled in properly and hoepfully they pan out.
 
I think these moves were primarily made as a short term boost to ensure we dont get relegated, and if any of them stand out they stick around for the championship.

Think the cups are just seen as a bonus and the clubs preference was to draw an A league team to get a big crowd rather than a deep run. We would have been a hell of a lot more ambitious in this window if we were chasing cup success.
