NRL + Super League🏉

Wow that woman is a thug kicking a bloke from behind. Really pathetic the lot of them
not surprised behaviour from that state :)

Having not watched any games but sussed results good to see all that state clubs copped loss's LOL.....
Oh one of my local pet hates the Eels flogged.
Sutho your chooks plucked least my Eagles kept some feathers.

It was good to see.

But imagine that was football.

News headlines, "thugs, hooligans, ban them for life". Full scale riot police.
In fairness at least the fans didn't attack the players and officials like a certain fanbase from Melbourne.

Cowboys are very poor but good to see Tigers start with a win.

Got NRL on radio. Honestly fuck this loud blaring music every break in play. I went to a Roosters game last year and my ears actually hurt from how loud they played music every break in play. Can't we just have a bit of silence so fans can comment together on what's happening?

In Japan or elsewhere the noise from the active support may never stop but at last you can have a bit of sound have flow through the ground instead of a sharp audio attack every minute.

Tough tipping this week but thankfully everyone in my league has one wrong so prevent a perfect round and bonus points.

Remember this. Parents went to wedding in Port Douglas. Stayed at nan's all week. Leagues club dinner the home to watch this.

The empty seats went over your head as a kid. Friday night footy after a week of school and sore head and legs was great.

Once I started playing myself the Friday night game really got you inspired for your game the next day.

The current format is alright in the modern world but back then we just made time for Friday night footy which must have been on delay?

Early 2000s the CD Radio Saturday nights was always good and not having foxtel the NBN Knights rights were a godsend.

I still always remember - would have been early 2000’s - driving through Newcastle on the way to Coffs Harbour on a Friday night with my parents, and feeling pissed off because couldn’t watch Friday Night Footy - Lo and behold it was a Knights game, so the Channel 9 commentary was on the radio in Newcastle
