I only remember that ginger looking prick at the back, then again it seems me and ginger cant get along in general... probably bc all things associated with ginger always go hand in hand with wanker! Just look here if you require any more proof! Hahaha

I agree their support is fickle, but they’ve also had decent crowds in the cup v Sydney fc, or even in the grand final only a few years back v APIA at Leichhardt which they won to become nsw champions. It’s really not that long ago

Fwiw i think Rockdale would have been a worthy addition to this comp and maybe one of the only clubs in the country who weren’t in it that would have been capable of matching or surpassing the numbers the other foundation clubs had

I would love to see Olympic have a good support it’s not even the rivalry factor i just dont see it getting better

Talking to Greeks they couldn’t give a shit about them it’s sad but the harsh reality

Im telling ya, for what it’s worth, and I’ll say it again, Olympic’s closest equivalent off the field is Alexander, not Hellas

Rivalries make for way better football.. but im afraid i think you are right in what you said here, it will take ages to repair the distrust from the blind faith in haliti and hanlon jumping ship like a rat.....

Many are just dissilusioned to be fair, whether they return on the back of this is another matter! Dont see Olympic doing anything to repair it either which is the biggest shame!

Crowd that day probably would have been around the 5,000 mark I’m guessing. You can see there was strong support there for olympic that day, this isn’t ancient history. I know their support can be fickle as can all Sydney sports crowds tbh, but interest exists

The Annual Croatian Football Tournament was in Sydney that weekend, so you had many Croats from all over the country who came out to support United.
