Back in the ol days when out on the piss and going for those early .am feeds we'd hit Marrickville known for the greek kebab shops very well known.
They had yeeros on there signage actually - so that you can blame your own bloods I suppose.
IDGAF I scoffed them down, suffered indegestion, burped, farted all the way driving home, pity the occupants haha

State vs State is for bogans and AFL, NRL meatheads mate.... We might like to play (and beat) Marconi , Olympic, APIA or whatever but Kinghts, Bergers and Preston we hate with a passion, no matter what city they live in.

there is always city vs city - nothing to do with the nrl etc, I just like that our teams/clubs win be it any NPL club vs whoever from the other states.
That is rivalry period.

yes I get that but we also still have rivalry being APIA or Marconi playing a melb or briz or other state team you back your side of the border to win most times unless its one like your hate for bergs.

Cant say i dislike the other Aussie cities enough to actively want them to lose. In fact i dont even dislike them period. If our involvement ends on Saturday im on the Marconi/Moreton bandwagon.

never ever manure, Tofs I'll give them a little cred if/when they win whenever they make it abroad but its like gritting through my teeth.
Though I have to give them a thanks todays result and consider it from a mercyside outlook more than anything.

To be honest, I don't think we've played each other in a Grand Final in all these years. The closest we've come is just finals matches.

I'm not thinking too far ahead. We have a yellow and black wall to get through on Saturday.

Though yep the State rivalry is all there, hopefully it builds up even more next years Championship - well it will no doubt.

Of course we would have been upset .... but I felt a deep seated hatred for us permeating from comments on radio shows and hearing them at the games from the following 2/3 seasons.

And there was some violence in the terraces.
