NPL 2026

Im pretty sure most Jewish clubs fund their OWN private security At least I know the Jewish schools down here in Melbourne do - a mates brother worked for the security firm.
They do, but since Bondi the police have changed their protocols. You often see riot police patrolling the streets of Bondi/suburbs with large Jewish populations

Have there been many decent Australian Jewish footballers? Sapsford and Swibel are the only ones that have played A-League who come to mind.
I’m sure there are some that I wasn’t aware of off the top of my head, but back in the day when Sydney city Hakoah were at the height of their powers very few if any of their players were Jewish. They were often times Australian national team players

SA completes its league expansion with four new additions. They now have 48 clubs in the top three divisions, which is one more than NSW! (five more if excluding APL youth teams)

Para Hills West SC and Tea Tree Gully SC have been confirmed as the latest clubs to join the HPG Homes State League 2 in 2027. The Football SA Board finalised the remaining two vacancies at its most recent meeting who will join Para Hills East SC and Sturt Marion Thunder in the competition from next season.

Based on last name, I would say Jay Baartz. I think a lot of Anglos with mixed European heritage would be pretty surprised that a lot of them have heavy Ashkenazi heritage. I went through a phase of watching a lot DNA result videos and that was seemingly the trend.

Why do FNSW not have simultaneous kick-offs for League One and League Two? After Bankstown's win the Mt Druitt vs Tigers game feels a bit silly. Every State League in Vic has simultaneous kick-offs, it can't be that hard to organise over just the two leagues
FNSW have no common sense

Very odd indeed.

Anyone been to their grounds? How big are the stands?

Altona Magic robbing Preston of a home final against South with an injury time goal is one of the most comical things i've seen on a final day. I know the 2 clubs werent on the best of terms in the past but you would have thought Altona would have let it slide.
