Tough 1-0 win at home against Rockdale.

I thought they were better 1st half and we were better in the 2nd.

Took a moment of individual brilliance to win it for us.
We were definitely on top the first 20/25 mins after that nothing

We’ll done to United even after the poor form they aren’t to be taken lightly

Neither Sutherland or Rockdale deserve that Aus Championship spot 😂

12 points difference from 3rd to 4th now lol.

Sutho lost, Rockdale lost, wolves lost again.

these results have only now bought in NWS Spirit and Manly into the mix.

Marconi v Sydney United this coming Sunday

Footage from one of the classic matches between the two clubs from 1995/96 NSL season feat. a white stallion being paraded around the Marconi club to the rocky soundtrack and pitch invasion from Branko Culina

we are currently 7 points behind Marconi with 7 games to go.

it will be interesting to see the side Miro puts out against Marconi as we play CCM on the wednesday in the cup.

If's its more of the "fringe" players, then it's safe to say, we've already checked out of the title race. But in saying that, you'd want to finish in the top two and get a week off.

Yea had imagined there was a chance united might come into this with one eye on the mid week cup game. Potentially that might be part of the reason why Marconi has been able to open up a bit of a gap at the top of the table over APIA and united for the first time this season in recent weeks, npl is currently Marconi’s sole focus where as the chasing pack have had Waratah and Aus cup commitments on their plate aswell

All that travel means the teams want to go all out for the victory when they get to the game
But in seriousness - it's probably because of the big gulf in the league this year. With 4 very easybeat clubs this year (3 of the 'promoted' clubs, and the one that would have been relegated last year), 3 points is very easy to come by. I know at least one of those 3 draws was between 2 of those - my guess is the other 2 were as well?

Travel? ACT clubs don't know the meaning of the word surely?
oooooft I was tempted to comment as such on Canberra Olympic's post about the youth team travelling to Sydney for some cup over the weekend. But - given the apparent rumour that FNSW is apparently holding out on the 16th spot in the 3rd division (League Two) on either a Canberra A-League academy (or possibly a Canberra club) I am fuming. Unless that club is Croatia.

oh one of the draws was this week with Tigers v Queanbeyan.

Bit of controversy over the equalising penalty (which.. I think was stonewall tbh - you could hear it in Woden) - but the controversy is more around this I would say

@Zelen Fc players got a dressing down from their fans yesterday?

No police, no issues yesterday.

Not the first time this year they’ve copped it thought we turned a new chapter against Apia and with the new signings but it’s just not the same team anymore

I heard there was no police which was
very very suprising

Heard our supporters were told to leave from another exit no issues which is good for both clubs

You could hear it, not playing for the badge, only here for money etc.

No police, and about time. We had enough security and they marshalled them out of the ground through a different exit.

No issues, No dramas.
