Don't tell a Preston boy about making "guests" stand in the rain... they invented it. HAHAHAHAAHAHAAHThats Valentine sports centre in NSW.
Sydney United Supporters were made to stand in the rain in last season's cup final, and no Umbrellas were allowed in the venue, so everyone went home drenched.
To be fair we dont have much of a choice. Maybe one day when the new grandstand is doneDon't tell a Preston boy about making "guests" stand in the rain... they invented it. HAHAHAHAAHAHAAH

Wtf
Gonna have to keep our powder dry until after World Cup I think mate...In the most recent npl nsw podcast the hosts were discussing the future of league structure and the aus championship. By the sounds they don’t seem optimistic about it going to a home and away league format anytime soon, but claim the general consensus is that it’s better to have it than not. If that’s all case, what are the next realistic steps? Do we just just pause the concept of “foundation clubs” until such time as a home and away league does get under way. And in the meantime get rid of state based finals and make it the top x clubs from each state qualify for the national finals/aus championships at the end of the season ?

But how does Olympic attract “better”players if their club has been a basket case for the whole Npl season with no fans, no proper home ?If the above is the current trajectory of things then that would explain Olympics change of heart re spending money on npl. Also claims they’ve allegedly recruited well in the transfer window. And that APIA may indeed not be able to play out of Leichhardt for the foreseeable future

Paying them more than 300 a week like they have been this season. Carrot of aus championship too. Will be interesting to see what sort of crowd they get to the aus cup game v Brisbane. I still think they can pull out some bandwagoners out of the woodwork if they’re winning/if conditions are right ala the game v Hellas a few years back, or grand finals in the past etcBut how does Olympic attract “better”players if their club has been a basket case for the whole Npl season with no fans, no proper home ?
