originally Melbourne City home game now a Bentleigh Greens home game (initially Sunday May 10th 3.00pm at Casey Fields, now Friday May 8th 7.30pm at Kingston Heath Soccer Complex).

I’m not on Twitter anymore, but I came across this screenshot by Rugari.

It’s from a couple of years ago, when this absolute nobody who is a Trump living jerk decided to attack Preston Lions by trying to get them to stop using the name of Makedonia. Which really has gone nowhere. I don’t see any of the main ethnic clubs using their old names in marketing or visibly official documents.

Sam Kostoulias is a vile individual. He better not come to a South Melbourne game.

But the main point is that Rugari thought he’d find a way to attack the old traditional clubs.

Josip Orlovic had a good game.

Sydney Olympic was by far the weakest opposition we've played so far.

But you had some players missing? No Arambasic.

Unfortunately, it doesn't look good for Olympic. I was speaking to a lot of our fans on the weekend, and we all agreed, no one wants Olympic to go down, the league is better with you guys in it. Far much better than those Academy sides, association and university sides. Olympic has more history and tradition then all those clubs combined.

But the writing is on the wall, i think you will be relegated.

All we need is Joe Gorman to write another 'Death and Life of the NSL'. this time focusing on the last rites of Sydney Olympic (instead of Marconi).

Seemed to work a treat for Marconi, who returned better than ever (in an NPL sense).

NOTE: as much as I enjoyed the book, I was not appreciative of it's negative slant. I also wonder what happened to Joe? He has disappeared completely. Does he support anyone in Australian Soccer?
