APIA and Marconi with wins over Sydney fc and wanderers respectively. Traditionally tricky times to play those teams in the early part of the season and when the a league has an international break so fringe players will be getting game time.

Early signs are that it’ll be Sydney united, Marconi and APIA battling it out for the title in nsw. Remains to be seen if St George can keep up the early season pace

Just noticed Port Melbourne are rock bottom of npl 2. What’s going on there, been a mainstay of the vic state league for decades
I’ve always felt they’ve overachieved.

And I hear that they are planning to revert to an Under 23 type of senior team.

No fringe players on our end this week. Was the opposite, few debuts on our bench.

St George City woeful today, will be disappointed if they take points from us.

Hume City defeated Preston Lions 3-2 in NPL Victoria to move to the top of the table on 14 points with their fourth win of the season, one point clear of Bentleigh Greens and Heidelberg United, who defeated Dandenong Thunder 2-1 and drew 1-1 with Melbourne City's reserves respectively. Caroline Springs George Cross leading St Albans 2-1 in the second half of their game, and Altona Magic locked at 1-1 with bottom-placed Green Gully, also in the second half of their match.

Sydney united win away at Rockdale, little doubt now they look to be the real deal. Sydney united v Marconi Easter Monday derby will be big. Hopefully draws a couple thousand.

St George convincing losers v spirit… Doesn’t look like they’ll be keeping pace

These are results that no one would have predicted. The top 6 is looking very weird.

Should be a belter. We'd be disappointed with anything less than 2k as well.

Great game against Rockdale yesterday. Thought the boys played well, and deserved the 3 points. Good crowd and atmosphere to top it off.

Dylan Rose what a player.

Dylan is a good kid too. He loves Sydney United.

Any chance of sharing some of the wins? :ROFLMAO:

Sorrento and Balcatta fell victim to the weather this weekend , but good to see only one game in the NPL was called off
