Can someone do a brief on all these podcasters today.
If I check one like Jerome Khalaf - all you see insta X acc's etc....
I like to see what knowledge all these infleuncers have or am I asking toooo much.

I can’t find a clear answer and don’t think I’ve heard a reason given unless I missed it which is possible. I’m assuming it must be to do with maintenance of the pitch, can’t think of any other possible reason

Jerome is a nobody but Jake and Rashid both played Aleague and NPL...

I've listened to the Big Sports Breakfast for 10+ years and I was going to say the same thing - first mention of the NPL ever = and of course it's negative. Very much NRL centric - even though they have a soccer ball in their logo.
Mossy has a regular spot but never even gave the Aus Championship any airtime when it was in full swing - I don't think he knew it was on. Spends more time talking about the EPL than Oz Football. In fact the BSB spend more time talking about Gridiron than Oz Football.

Anyone received the annual NPL Victoria season guide/preview yet? Usually able to get ut 1/2 weeks before round 1...

it sure got its news worth around the traps - went to training last night and whilst getting ready some of the fellow fossils came asking all about the spirit game tackle knowing how much I follow our league.
Thought dam least they are paying attention haha
All saying dog act should be out for the season.
As some have mentioned of tackles back in the day - worse you quoted quoted being probed in never never there I've some horrendous behaviour as such by opponents and worse a few fellow team mates who completely lost the plot have they have tackled someone or worse got up after a tackle and just king hit their tackler.
Seen some rippa's.

Speaking of that, I have two friends that have quit coaching juniors at he same NPL club in a month.

Said that every time they pick their sides they get a call from the president etc saying his cousin's kid or his grandma's neighbour's kid must be in the A team, even though they are fat and useless and should be playing for a community club in D grade.

Were Asian imports ever any 'cheaper' for the system?

No, just a lot of Japanese players that come here for 2-3 years while they study at uni.

Shitload in the IPL because of UOW.

There were never any concessions on visa players, it's always been 2 max regardless of passport

Good on them for stepping down. We need more coaches to do it with these situations.

I stepped down from First Grade a few seasons ago for the same thing. It happens in youth and seniors.
