Good to hear, one can only hope that sort of thing will become more common. I’m sure there will be more interest on the goings on in nsw and vic from either side of the border given the increased level of cross over. As many on here will know from my previous posts I’ve always felt the traditional clubs from both Sydney and Melbourne are a stronger prospect and generate more interest together than diluted across 2 separate state leagues.
Marconi and APIA played each other 5 times last season in all competitions. 2 home and away in the npl, npl finals, Australia cup round and Australian championship. May as well start the 2026 season in the same vein as 2025.
As a side note, surely Marconi and APIA don’t meet in the Australia cup again, it’s already happened multiple years in a row
