NPL 2025

We shall see. Will be interesting if nothing else. South Melbourne v Sydney Olympic should be an interesting one too. Two mid table clubs who should be doing better. Olympic have just lost haliti as their coach a few weeks out from the championship apparently. I’m sure their fans will be happy, many have been calling for his head for years. Doesn’t give them a huge amount of time to reorganise though
I thought that was denied. He is still listed as manager

May well be the case, will defer to you on this one. I think it’s unconfirmed still at this stage
If you were referring to him becoming head of football at CCM that was refuted on the day by the CCM CEO. Of course what is correct one day can change completely the next.

Was mentioned on the “from the gantry podcast”, the semi official npl nsw podcast, that’s what I’m basing it off. I have no inside sources etc

A chat about the Queensland regional championships and how Football Queensland has treated the northern comps like shit:

The no relegation from npl 3 pisses me off and seeing Victoria has a proper pyramid in place
In my world - last placed in NPL3 goes back to their association Premier League, and the winner of Champion of Champions gets promoted:

EG: last year, Gladesville Ryde Magic would have been relegated back to North West Sydney Premier League (?), with Coogee United being promoted to NPL3/League Two/Whatever it's called now

Preliminary Finals Fixtures

Sunday 7th September

NWS Spirit FC v Rockdale Ilinden 5pm – Christie Park

APIA Leichhardt FC v Marconi Stallions 4pm – Lambert Park

i agree that's what we do over here in W.A teams get the choice and then its either a playoff or automatic ,

Just.... why???

Preston is like that kid in class who has the brightest future ahead of them, but then to impress their mates they dive head first into a shallow pool and now they're paralysed for life. Future f#$%ed from bad choices. I hate trying to defend everything because of f#$%wits like this. People using it as ammo against progress.

All that small section aside the atmosphere was great and the majority of preston fans were exemplary.. keepsake to be excited about is the fantastic crowd number.. this is above satisfactory if we are pulling it at championship games!!
