PSA to all the Preston fans, theyll have to bring all the chairs they ripped out of Jack Edwards with them on Friday... Bergers only have a couple of hundred seats1 chair haha cmon mate
$20 ?? They only charged us $18 the week before... Aki must have put on a "danger money" tax on it.....I'll tell ya what was disgusting the $20 you charged for a souv
Highway robbery!
Yeah, the "peoples club" who held a special fund raising match for the mother who drowned her kid in Merry creekAlexandros holds us responsible for being kicked out of the nsl in the mid 90s. They've produced no such evidence that this was the case.
Not fussed what they bring as long as its civil, especially so close the championship! The bergers have done the right thing here for them, Preston and the game, hosted, taking measures to segregate, will make it easy for them to arrive and leave.. no reason this shouldnt go as smooth as the game against South for everyones sake as we all have the same vested interest!PSA to all the Preston fans, theyll have to bring all the chairs they ripped out of Jack Edwards with them on Friday... Sorry mate, I know you are aligned, and I have many friends and family on the yellow side of the football fence but after the past couple of seasons and the abuse towards us by some of "them" recently Ive got no interest in supporting them in any way... Any other year and I would have been the first one to buy a ticket to their Australia Cup final, or even NPL GF, now I hope they lose both. Not fussed what they bring as long as its civil, especially so close the championship! At some point if any bad element at any team shows its face its the clubs resposibility to sort it out or pay the price... no exceptions!
No area given behind the goals bc the area has rocks/debris etc possibly used as missiles, and i dont tend to dissagree. If they stratch back to the back of the top of hill it will be ok for a friday crowd.. scaffold will still be there and benches will be fenced off which limits visibilty even more! The other end where the Preston fans will be doesnt even fit that much anymore. Surprised they werent given a bit behind the goals either.
No trouble in the ground, the rival fans will be too far from eachother. Its more the Preston march to the ground.
Hahaha no issue at all or apologies i actually agree with you totally.. my involvement is strictly a football one with that club bc my boys are there and its close to watch games given the football they put on the park this season, and only when not at South! SMFC above all and always is the motto in this house and always will be!Sorry mate, I know you are aligned, and I have many friends and family on the yellow side of the football fence but after the past couple of seasons and the abuse towards us by some of "them" recently Ive got no interest in supporting them in any way... Good crowd in for Marconi v Sydney united in mid week. Makes you wonder what sort of crowd they could have got on a Saturday night or a Sunday.
Unable to attend myself, but maybe some interesting mid week viewing for anyone who’s interested.
Marconi win penalty shootout 3-2 after 1-1 at FT. They play APIA at Lambert this weekend.

If they got deducted points now I think that would relegate them. That they did, but they wont get sanctioned for it.
if they do, it might effect them for start of next season, like deduct points.
a good short highlight clip of the derby, had it all, red cards, dirty tackles, fans engaged, good atmosphere.
Franco Maya you Grub!
Tsenkenis's Marconi have always been physical. Last year's GF at Parra against the Rockdale was both teams kicking shit out of each other for the first half an hour before any actual football happened. His style is effective however I wouldn't call it pretty to watch.
Fair bit of messy play last night, poor control, bad touches, bad final ball. Vast improvement needed imo otherwise Heidelberg will roll Marconi easily in a few weeks time on current form.If they got deducted points now I think that would relegate them.

Annoyed i couldn’t attend, looked like a good one. Solid away support for sydney united, especially after the equaliser, came through loud and clear on the telecastnothing wrong with the dirty side of football, especially in a derby. Players like it, fans like it and it engages them. i was at the game last night and it was a good game to be at live, despite our loss.
